You’re a single woman in the dating scene seeking to find a love, but the love you found does not seem to fit quite right.  How do you know if you are dating a casual dater?  If you are dating a casual dater, how do you let him go and move on to find true love?  There are some signs that a person is a casual dater.  One major, and certainly obvious point is that this person cannot commit to you.  Even if you have been dating for a while, you can still be dating seeking a casual dater if this person is not ready to commit to the next level in the relationship.  Some casual daters only date the same person a few times.  Others, date for a longer amount of time, without ever giving a total commitment.  As the victim of the casual dater, this is detrimental to your emotional health and well-being.  Sure, you’re not being physically harmed, but your emotional sanity is being shaken to the core.  We all need to have people in our lives.  We need to be loved.  Not all of us readily admit this fact, but we need each other.  If you are the type of person who is a commitment-minded dater, you cannot date a casual dater.  It may work for a while, but soon you will get frustrated and ask your partner to make a commitment or the casual dater may leave you before it ever gets to that point.  If the casual dater is not allowing you to meet his family or spend quality time with you, you know he is not commitment-minded.  You need to consider your own needs at this point and ascertain what you are going to do about it.  It will take bravery to confront the casual dater as to his intentions regarding your relationship.  You may be scared because then he’ll actually decide to end the relationship and leave you.  If that happens, then you are better for it.  It will take some time to get passed the hurt and be ready to move on to a new relationship, but you will have learned that you have different wants and needs from a casual dater and you can not be in a relationship with such a person.  You deserve to be treated like a princess and not have someone walk all over you and try to get all the benefits of a long-term relationship without paying for the commitment of it.  It’s your decision and you will have to live with the choices you make.When you get the situation figured out and if your casual dater has a change of heart and wants to stay in the relationship, that’s wonderful.
